Meet our senior team

Andrew Roughan,
Chief Executive Officer

Andrew is a passionate tech for good advocate and he’s strategically created Plexal’s collaborative innovation ecosystem to simultaneously improve national security while creating prosperity. Andrew previously held the role of Here East COO, supporting the government mission to regenerate the Olympic Park, leveraging his experience of business transformation from earlier roles.

Saj Huq,
Chief Commercial Officer

Saj leads strategy, growth and partnerships across government, industry and emerging technology sectors. He focuses on shaping and delivering impactful collaborations that connect startups, corporates and the public sector to strengthen technological resilience and economic competitiveness. Prior to Plexal, Saj served as a Royal Air Force officer and pilot before later working as a management consultant at Deloitte and PwC, as well as leading strategic transformation for a private-equity-backed financial institution.

Brandon Hucq,
Chief Financial Officer

Brandon leads Plexal’s financial strategy and reporting, as well as legal and risk management, with an analytical approach across all departments to optimise business performance. Brandon was previously FD at transport software and engineering company Pi Innovo, while other roles have included positions at management consultancy Deloitte and pan-African investment and banking group Old Mutual.

Bruno Sussat,
Chief Operating Officer

Bruno leads the Innovation Services team’s operational enablement and is focused on ensuring Plexal is fit-for-purpose throughout its continued scaling journey. He oversees Plexal’s delivery teams across Plexal’s Consulting, Programmes, Clusters and Growth Partnership propositions. Bruno previously led Plexal’s Consulting team, working to help clients and partners understand emerging technology insights and collaborated with startups to rapidly develop new capabilities. Prior to Plexal, Bruno was part of the EY Strategy practice, focusing on innovation.
